Fire Station Giveaway Winner and Free Books

We're very pleased to announce the winner of our "Fireplace" Firestation Giveaway, featuring the new docking station available for pre-order now from ReaderDock. Special thanks are due to everyone who gave us a glimpse of where they use their Fires and for everyone who participated in our contest. Of course, we can only have one winner, but stick around for more contests in the future, including a nice one we have planned for when our Facebook page reaches 25,000 fans!

Let's all offer our sincere congratulations to our lucky winner, John Mann! We've enjoyed all of his contributions to our discussions, but to show there's no favoritism we'd also like to display the result from the widget presenting his name. Although a few others were disqualified first, he entered, did what he said, and we'll be pleased to send him a Firestation once they are available. Congrats, John! And we hope the rest of you will come back for our next contest!




And we'd also like to extend a special thanks to all of our visitors for an excellent March. The Kindle Fire Department had roughly a quarter of a million views! Thanks for making us your destination for apps, books, and a great community of Fire users.

  1. OMG! After several minutes of feeling faint, and double-checking my eyes, that's definitely me! I'm excited to be a winner, and thank you for hosting the raffle! I am going to make good use of the FireStation - I already know it's going to be very useful.
